Structuring growth around efficiency, transparency, and responsibility — this is the strategic vision shaping Dulcop’s evolution. A new industrial model that integrates operational performance, organizational innovation, and positive social impact.
We discussed this vision with Antonio Oretti, General Manager and Sustainability Manager at Dulcop, who explains:
"A company’s true value lies in the contribution of its people. That’s why every team member must understand the strategic direction and feel actively involved in the journey ahead."
This people-centered approach is the foundation of Dulcop’s ambitious three-year plan, now taking concrete shape through the upcoming 2025 Sustainability Report.
Integrated Sustainability: a new industrial paradigm
The 2025 Sustainability Report represents more than a reporting tool: it’s a milestone in a deeper transformation across the entire company — initiated during a generational transition and driven by a set of clearly defined three-year goals.
"It’s not just a report. It’s a pact of trust — with the market, our partners, and the families we serve. Every decision is grounded in data, evidence, and shared responsibility," Oretti emphasizes.
In a landscape where environmental and social responsibility are increasingly central, Dulcop is taking measurable action:
- A photovoltaic plant now covers 70% of our site’s energy needs
- Production processes have been digitized via integrated MES and ERP systems
- ESG indicators are now embedded in industrial planning
- Internal listening channels and organizational coaching paths have been implemented
- A Gender Equality Plan (UNI/PdR 125:2022) is in place, led by a certified Gender Manager
"As both General Manager and Sustainability Manager, I’m leading the implementation of a model built on measurable processes, continuous improvement, and people-first principles. By integrating the Theory of Constraints (TOC) with cost-center-based industrial accounting, we’ve developed a decision-making framework that optimizes resource allocation and monitors efficiency and margins in real time."
This approach enables ongoing improvement across both operational and strategic levels, boosting throughput without increasing fixed costs. Each production line becomes a connected node in a data-driven ecosystem — reactive, sustainable, and resilient. It’s this blend of Italian manufacturing expertise and responsible governance that positions Dulcop as a replicable model for the future of the Made in Italy toy industry.
Managerial governance that drives ESG
One of the most significant shifts has been the adoption of a managerial governance model that ensures strategic clarity, continuity, and alignment — especially during generational change.
"We’ve built a shared leadership model in which operations, sustainability, marketing, and financial control all contribute actively to our ESG roadmap."
The involvement of Dulcop’s third-generation entrepreneurs has accelerated this transformation, bringing renewed focus on digitalization, ethics, and shared value.
"In a market where price often dominates, our role is also cultural: to help buyers understand that real value lies not in cost, but in traceability, accountability, and verified quality across the supply chain."
At Dulcop, governance is the engine of credibility — a structure that transforms vision into action and makes sustainability a fact, not a promise.
A Measurable, Shared, and Transparent Future
Sustainability is now embedded in every aspect of our operations — environmental, social, and industrial. This commitment translates into:
- Ongoing monitoring of Scope 1 and 2 emissions (by 2025) and Scope 3 (by 2026)
- Integration of ESG data into planning and decision-making cycles
- Digital tools for cost control and industrial performance tracking
- Full traceability of materials, yields, and real margins
These actions are not only ethical — they’re strategic, enabling Dulcop to stand out as a credible partner for international buyers increasingly focused on certified and sustainable supply chains.
Made in Italy, Powered by Ethics and Vision
Dulcop today represents a responsible industrial model — one that blends the tradition of Italian manufacturing with the global demands of sustainability.
"We want to highlight the difference between businesses driven by genuine corporate culture, transparent supply chains and a positive social impact — and those hiding behind unclear practices and unsustainably low prices."
Through the 2025 Sustainability Report and a long-term strategy aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Dulcop is setting a new standard for a toy industry that is fairer, more transparent, and future-focused.
