DULCOP’s 2025 wrap-up takes place symbolically in Nuremberg, during the International Toy Fair, the most iconic and globally recognised meeting point for the toy industry community.
Although the calendar now reads January 2026, Nuremberg represents the ideal setting to reflect on the year just completed and to open a new phase of development, driven by international vision, relationships and innovation.
We discussed this journey with Andrea Melotti, President of DULCOP International S.p.A., who looks back on the key milestones of 2025 — a year of tangible transformation for the company.
Andrea Melotti, why close 2025 in Nuremberg?
“Nuremberg is where the toy industry comes together as a true community. It’s where results are reviewed and the future is discussed. Closing 2025 here, even though we are already in January 2026, has a strong symbolic and strategic value for us.”
A year of product innovation
Throughout 2025, DULCOP strengthened its portfolio with the development of new Indoor solutions, the Pets line, the introduction of new bubble toys, and new graphics designed for young adults, expanding both target audiences and usage occasions.
"Product innovation has been central. Each new line is developed through careful market listening and guided by a clear vision of quality, safety and brand identity.”
The first Sustainability Report
2025 also marked a fundamental milestone in DULCOP’s ESG journey with the publication of its first Sustainability Report, a key tool to transparently measure and communicate the company’s commitment to governance, environmental responsibility and social impact.
“Sustainability for us is a structured, long-term path. The Sustainability Report is an important starting point, because it translates values and commitments into measurable data and concrete objectives.”
The new headquarters in Osteria Grande
During 2025, DULCOP also completed the relocation to its new headquarters in Osteria Grande, Castel San Pietro Terme, a strategic step that strengthens production efficiency, process organisation and the company’s connection to its territory.
“The new headquarters is not just a production site, but an investment in the future, where innovation, people and sustainability come together in a tangible way.”
Trade fairs, recognition and positioning
Participation in key events such as MARCA by BolognaFiere and Spielwarenmesse Nuremberg further consolidated DULCOP’s positioning both nationally and internationally, confirming the company among the Italian excellences of the sector.
"A symbolic yet meaningful recognition also came through the commemorative stamp dedicated to Dulcop by the Italian Minister of Made in Italy together with Poste italiane, officially acknowledging DULCOP’s industrial, cultural and identity value."
Strong ties with the local community and culture
2025 reinforced DULCOP’s relationship with local institutions through collaborations with the Municipality of Bologna and the Municipality of Castel San Pietro Terme, highlighting the company’s deep-rooted connection to its territory.
Among the most representative initiatives was the screening of Big Fish, organised in collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna as part of Sotto le stelle del cinema, an event that brought together business, culture and community.
“For us, the territory is not just where we operate, but a shared ecosystem. Working with institutions and cultural organisations means creating shared value.”
From Nuremberg towards 2026
From the heart of the Nuremberg Toy Fair, DULCOP now looks ahead to 2026 with a clear direction.
“We move forward from a year that has transformed the company. 2026 will be about consolidating what we have built, continuing to innovate and growing responsibly.”
