For Dulcop, Research and Development is not only a strategic asset — it is the core that guides innovation across the toy industry. To understand how this approach is evolving, we interviewed Arianna Melotti, R&D Manager who has led the department since 2024.

The strategic value of R&D in the toy industry

According to Melotti, the role of R&D today is closely linked to supporting commercial development: “Our goal is to provide tools that genuinely support the work of our commercial partners by expanding sales opportunities throughout the year.” This vision is clearly reflected in the company’s 2026 product roadmap.

Indoor Line: bubbles with no residue, no seasonality

Among the most significant innovations is the new Indoor Line, a collection designed to offer clean, residue-free bubbles suitable for indoor environments. “The Indoor Line removes the limits of seasonality and increases shelf rotation,” Arianna Melotti explains. This solution enables retailers to position bubbles as an all-year category, unlocking new purchasing moments.

Pets Line: entering a new and fast-growing market

Another strategic debut is the Pets Line, designed for safe interaction with animals. “Families increasingly consider pets as full members of the household,” Arianna Melotti says. “Including ours — Asia, our family Labrador, who loves chasing bubbles with contagious enthusiasm.”
This new market segment opens fresh business opportunities while maintaining Dulcop’s standards of safety and reliability.

New bubble toys and a more powerful bubble machine

The roadmap also includes new bubble toys additions and an upgraded bubble machine engineered for higher performance, confirming Dulcop’s continuous focus on product evolution.

With a renewed commitment to innovation, safety, and market responsiveness, Dulcop’s 2026 R&D strategy further strengthens the company’s role as a reliable partner for the toy industry worldwide.
